Join Peppy in person, to discuss the movie Nonnas, based on Joe Scaravella鈥檚 true story about building Enoteca Maria, a one-of-a-kind restaurant in Staten Island that features rotating chefs, all women over 50, cooking dishes from their home countries and family cultures.

The films portray stories about the lives, challenges, and triumphs of older adults. Each film offers thoughtful conversation about aging, identity, and the experiences that shape us.
Not only are films excellent sources of entertainment, but they also offer valuable opportunities for learning, connection, and reflection, and a touch of Blue Zones.

*On Tuesday, June 24, 11am- 12pm, we will begin the weekly film discussions on Zoom.
The movie disscussion will be on Victoria and Abdu on Netflix.
