黑料社 CSI Summer Camp Start July 6th,

黑料社 CSI Summer Camp is entering its 19th year this summer. It is an exciting and fun camp that has attracted each summer hundreds of high schoolers from all over the United States and beyond.

The program is led by Dr. Duntley and Dr. Tartaro, two professors within the Criminal Justice program. They work so hard each summer to design unforgettable adventures and experiences that take the campers behind the scenes of criminal investigations and criminal murder trials.

This summer, the program offers threecamps. Each camp treats a different murder case. To solve the case, the participants go through the various stages of investigation from collecting evidence to preparing the case for trial. They work with and hear from Ph.D. criminal justice professors and researchers as well as field practitioners such as law enforcement and corrections officers, lawyers, medical examiners and many more.

Here are examples of fun and exciting events planned in last year's camps:
  • A Trip to National Transportation Security Administration Training Center
  • Trips to Atlantic County Jail
  • Trips to a morgue
  • A number of exciting guest speakers
  • Planning and going through mock trials
