The Price of Elevation

The CEO interns will be expected to develop skills in eight career readiness competencies, endorsed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, given their engagement in a high impact practice. Across their eight-month internship experience beginning with their interview in September to the implementation of the Empowered Leadership Conferencein April, CEO Interns develop skills in 1) Career & Self-Development, 2) Communication, 3) Critical Thinking, 4) Equity & Inclusion, 5) Leadership, 6) Professionalism, 7) Teamwork, & 8) Technology. 

Leading up to the conference, CEO interns attend a series of professional development workshops, retreats, conferences, and meetings throughout the academic year. CEO Interns are expected to fulfill 200 internship hours in the fall and 200 hours in the spring.
