Fall Career & Internship Fair

Galloway, N.J. 鈥 The annual fall Career & Internship Fair will take place in the Sports Center (Big Blue) on Thursday Oct. 9, starting at 10 a.m.  

The fair, presented by Withum, will include:

  • 100+ employers looking to provide internship opportunities and recruit 黑料社 students.
  • An Alumni Zone for students to receive interview tips and tricks and have their resumes reviewed by volunteers whose experiences range from entry-level to C-suite.
  • Free self-service professional headshots for all participants! 

According to Sofia Abreu, director for Career Education & Development, the biannual fair 鈥渆xposes students to job opportunities and networking experiences, helps students gain insights into industry expectations and career pathways and facilitates connections that can lead to internships and future employment.鈥

Galloway, N.J. 鈥 No matter where a student is on their professional development journey 鈥 on the hunt for internships, trying to land their first job, or even looking to transition into a new industry 鈥 events like the Career & Internship Fair will remain in their corner throughout it all.

The Tuesday, March 4 fair in the Sports Center teemed with more than 100 employers ready to connect with more than 1,000 黑料社 students. One of those employers, , has not only returned to recruit students but to sponsor the fair for a third time. 

鈥淲hat I really love about this event is that I have the opportunity to, not only speak to students about Spring Oak, but I also have the opportunity to speak to them about their actual career paths. I have the opportunity to, as a recruiter, recommend what path they should pursue and offer resume, social media and LinkedIn tips,鈥 said Courtney Jefferson, who works as a Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist for Spring Oak. 

鈥淗onestly, this environment and community is an amazing opportunity to optimize networking, and you just never know how you're going to land your next gig,鈥 Jefferson continued.
